Adding A Title?

The test worked, but I can't find a way to add the title of a post. So I'm trying this.

To hell with this. It seems just about as easy to use the posting page in Blogger itself. Unless I can find some functionality in Google Docs that isn't in the Blogger post page.

Sheesh, you got me scared....

I'm going to avoid all confusion for as long as I can and keep the DT blog the way it is until the blogger people make us change - OR better still.. I'll await until Larry figures it all out, and then ask him to do it the DT blog...

Re: the photo on the front page of the blog... I am moved to pose the following question in response:

Is Larry's head half full or half empty?

The blog itself is working much the same way it did before. You get to choose more things without having to muck around in the template with the html. Like, for example, the grey colour on the page is editable. (It started out white.) A bunch of different page elements are available, called widgets.

I started with the same template as before, the Scribe, but it didn't translate exactly. That's why I chose this. As you can see, the Blog name stays the same, and the URL, but your username changes because you have to open a Google account. (Unless you can choose the same username for your Google account.) My username changed because I already have a Google account.

The business with the title and all that was because I tried to use Google docs to post on the blog. It worked finally, but as I said, it's just as easy (or easier) to use the Blogger page to post. The Google process has a lot of interesting features, though, if you have time to learn how to use them.

Re comment #2:
That depends, naturally, on whether you are an optimist or a pessimist. I tend to be pessimistic about the future of my optimism.

I've been trying to figure out a way to get that photo beside the main title instead of underneath. No luck so far, and I have a feeling you can't do it. Unless you know more about html than I do.

A third thing: I registered the blog with Technorati (look for the button in the sidebar) which tracks blogs and links etc. It's a way to get more exposure for the blog.

A fourth thing: Sorry, but I do believe the change is inevitable. My dashboard now informs me (every time I go there) that DoveTale is still on the old version of Blogger. In fact, I can't even get to it at the moment.

Maybe the photo means I don't know whether I'm coming or going.

Help! I've written and I can't get up!
