Song of the Day

Rosalita by Bruce Springsteen.

I remember one of my brother's good friends on the beach at Port Elgin wearing a t-shirt with the words: Bruce Springsteen is God.

Update June 5/07: The fact is, there is nothing...nothing at all like seeing Springsteen and the E Street Band perform this song live. Even after 30 years (!) an aura of unrestrained joyousness emanates from the band when they play Rosalita.

Larry, for some strange reason (there are only strange reasons at editing circles...) the conversation turned to how many members of DT there were - I piped up 12, mentioning the fact that you have a standing invitation to join us whenver you like - (well, your alter-ego does in any case). John B. said he'd never been to an editing circle when you've been there - that he'd LIKE that... so there you have it, you are still legend. Come see us sometime that John B is there, k?

You were there at the beginning and never left. There is your imprint. Ego, alter ego, physical presence or awareness level, Larry is part of the uniqueness of what we are.

I'll come for sure some Thursday night. Lately my Thursday nights have been occupied with a regular meeting. I can skip out of these now and then. But really, I need some piece to bring. Otherwise, I'd just be wasting your time.

Help! I've written and I can't get up!
